meet lizzie

" One of my earliest memories is cooking as a child with my mum, literally hanging off her apron strings following her round the kitchen. This grew into throwing dinner parties for my older siblings from the age of 10, regularly cooking Sunday lunch and then as soon as I could, working in restaurants. Ten years later whilst studying Home Economics at Cardiff University I landed my first job as a chef in a typical Welsh restaurant working nights and weekends until I graduated. Back in London I went to Leiths School of Food and Wine and then there was no stopping me!"

 

Our food

We are constantly evolving fresh ideas and incorporating new ingredients, often borrowing from our travels both overseas and regionally in the UK. Robust flavours are at the core of our menus, be they a bitesized mouthful or a five course feast, and we have recently expanded our kitchen outdoors with a Big Green Egg. This means we have been experimenting with home smoking our local produce and the latest new toy is the Sous Vide.
